Title: Pieces of Hope

I’m still walking this limitless wasteland.

And after all this time I can’t return to the road nor stop.

On this road I met people and parted from them. Even if there was no reason for me to be granted of all my wishes.

For all those people who became stars, here are these words that I hope can reach you.

I’ll sing a song to turn that day painted in black into something positive.

Hello, goodbye. My future, if your feet were stuck in the earth

on which rain wavering poured and solidified, the entwined thread will eventually untie.

It’s already morning on the west coast. Even so, in the sky in which the rain doesn’t stop expanding,

it looks like that hopelessness is floating quietly.

The second hand of the clock and the destiny keep moving restlessly.

To wish that “In this city the night may be shorter” on the night before the party,

I always did such things and each one of these experiences that I knew

little by little will open the heavy door of the future.

Hello, goodnight, sad future. I dropped into a world* I don’t know

I gather all of those pieces of my hope

and create a roller coaster whose other name is “possibility”.

Right now I’ll start the engine, towards my own new world.

If I take a deep breath and close my eyes,

I can see the happiness to forget the things to forget!

Hello, goodnight, sad future. I dropped into a world* I don’t know

I gather all of those pieces of my hope

and create a roller coaster whose other name is “possibility”.

Maybe there is nothing to change the way to glide these rails, but you will have already realized that it’s never too late,

it’s never too late, it’s never too late.

Notes and Other

*= the word used here means the group of people including family members and close friends and all the space shared together with these people.

Another j-rock song that got stuck in my head, it seems that sometimes I really need the simple positivity typical of these songs. Try not to focus too much on the meaning and just let the words carry you to the end of the song: that’s the way this song it’s supposed to be listened.
