Dadaroma – ブリキ (Buriki) Translation

Kanji-Romaji

Translation

Title: Tin

To strong people like you

this twisted sound is impossible to hear, right?

In the laughs overflowing the city

this tin sound is vanishing.

To strong people like you

this scratching sound is impossible to hear, right?

In the laughs overflowing the city

this tin sound is vanishing.

To strong people like you

this collapsing sound is impossible to hear, right?

In your own laughs

this tin* sound is vanishing.

To strong people like you

this crumbling sound is impossible to hear, right?

In the laughs overflowing the city

this tin* sound is vanishing.

1st person: “Party”

2nd person: “Suicide”

3rd person: “Party”

4th person: “Suicide”

5th person: “Let’s be friends!”

Ah…

Someone pointed there.

Someone pointed here.

Many people guessed right

and decided God.

You can’t hear it, right?

You can’t hear it, right?

You can’t hear it, right?

You can’t hear it, right?

So…

1st person: “Party”

2nd person: “Suicide”

3rd person: “Party”

4th person: “Suicide”

5th person: “Let’s be friends!”

Uh…

If you wait for the morning the stars will vanish

and if you wait for the night the sun will sink

and if rain doesn’t fall flowers wither

and if that child laughs

you cry

you cry

you cry

You can’t sing the waltz

you cry

you cry

you cry

Notes and Other

*= In the lyrics it’s written as “tin sound” but Yoshiatsu sings it as “my sound”.

A song criticizing society: the message is that all people who think that are so strong cannot hear or understand the desperation and the message of Dadaroma’s song.
