Diaura – 倒錯症レジスタンス (Tousakushou Resistance) Translation

Kanji-Romaji

Translation

Title: Resistance of the Perverted*

Noble virtues are on top of the ruins,

ah, how long people will keep pretending?

Ah, it was quite different,

ah, why does everyone turn their eyes away?

Because of the tears of the you warped by loneliness,

my heart seems like it’s splitting open.

Come on, let’s go with tin wings in our hands!

Come on, let’s fly together everywhere!

Let’s fly down to Heaven and Hell

Come on, let’s go to the ridge of the mountain of ruins!

Come on, let’s fly, if it’s the two of us

everywhere is fine.

Ah, if this world is truly beautiful**,

ah, tear off your disguise, won’t you?

This heartless world forces you into loneliness,

my heart seems like it’s splitting open.

Everywhere is fine.

Notes and Other

*=Perverted does not mean “pervert” (which you probably knows as “hentai”), it indicates some kind of mental illness because of which moral values shared by members of society are lost. It’s a metaphor to indicate the fans, or at least that’s my guest.

**= maybe this has no connection at all with the song, but in Japanese the classic sentence to say before committing suicide is “Goodbye, beautiful world” (while in western language we say “goodbye, cruel world”).

The songs seems to be dedicated to the fans who kept following Diaura until now as can be clearly see from the title. Also, the are some reference to Diaura way of thinking: true noble values can be found only by those who have morally fallen down, those who still didn’t still can’t accept their true nature and so pretend not to see and wear disguise.
