ビレッジマンズストア (Village man’s store) – ビレッジマンズ (Village men) Translation

Kanji

Translation

Where have they gone? They crossed the red bridge and,

according to Maki’s sayings, they won’t come back.

The gods are happily carried on the backs of big groups of apes but you reached purity,

touch the screen and I’ll see you from the space.

Silence is noisy, I can’t even hear the siren!

Without that feeling of anxiety we’d all end up doing something bad.

I MIX the TRACK and send an SOS,

an upload inside a bottle.

My golden Les Paul is telling me “Come to me now!”

A-Ah, if we crawl out where should we gather?

U-uh, should I walk the streets in this dress?

I sob and cry but there’s no street light to show that,

if our stabilizers stopped working, that would be a nice excuse, won’t it?

It’s a game of being on the edge of a edgeless sword for so many years of our life…

We are a quartet of not fine people carrying their incapability in social relationship,

so, village men*, drag around this me suffering from panic syndrome!

A-Ah, if we crawl out where should we gather?

U-uh, should I walk the streets in this dress?

I sob and cry but there’s no street light to show that,

if our stabilizers stopped working, that could be a sign, right?

Let’s end this game of being on the edge of a edgeless sword for so many years of our life…

Notes and Other

*=I’m pretty sure that “village men” is the way the band calls the fans.

I fucking love this band! Everything is so rough and makes me want to jump around with no reason.

This song is about the band will to keep creating music to entertain people even though they are just normal people full of anxieties and fears just like everyone else.
