Title: Poem of the Stray Dogs
A plain, ordinary life,
the feeling of hating being owned,
all these reflect in the eyes of a dog cast off the society.
Too ugly theories,
commentators whose value comes only from their name,
is there some light in the relapsing of this world of pain?
The morning glory* bloomed in the dark will not be seen by anyone,
will it definitely fleetingly burn up its life and scatter away?
“Don’t be a rotten apple! Die!” even though they say this to me, I shrug my shoulder and pretend to be cool,
like a false rock-star borrowing the might of a tiger,
an identity like a renegade image**,
it’s not like this or that are bad,
but common sense is nothing but the brainwashing of what is not common sense.
The morning glory* bloomed in the dark will not be seen by anyone,
will it definitely fleetingly burn up its life and scatter away?
There’s no never ending rain, there’s no never blooming flower, there’s no never ending life,
the stray dogs keep singing.
There’s no never ending rain, there’s no never blooming flower, there’s no never ending life,
the stray dogs keep screaming.
Blind adults who can’t even see what’s around them,
they keep making a fuss saying “Discrimination? What are you talking about?!”
as if they just walked past each other, they just look down,
is there any reason for that?
Is there any necessity for that?
The morning glory* bloomed in the dark will not be seen by anyone,
will it definitely fleetingly burn up its life and scatter away?
There’s no never ending rain, there’s no never blooming flower, there’s no never ending life,
the stray dogs keep singing.
Inside the never ending rain, a flower that will never bloom cries and dreams of a never ending life,
this is the poem of the stray dog.
Never ending rains do exist, never blooming flowers do exist, is there a never ending life?
The stray dogs keep screaming.
We keep screaming…
Notes and Other
*=is a kind of flower that only blooms after the sunset and stays open only during the night.
**=is a word referring of the act of making someone step on the image of a person or a figure he/she put faith in so to renegade it. I’m not going into more detailed historical information because they wouldn’t add any more valuable information to the song.
