From 3-6-5-0 days derives the next phase,

I look back, I see the face of the time of innocence.

Reason is not something you can carry along with you, what your hands grasped is pieces of dream with lots of scream

Our pride has no basis, before our eyes only a whited out scenery, the only road sign is our urges.

 

Come on, STEP STEP STEP STEP

No matter what, before heading towards the ruin, there’s always the abnormal desire of a challenge.

The story which can delude* our insatiable souls

is a comedy or a tragedy?

 

Since I am greedier than the others,

I keep dreaming about hopes I can’t fully make true.

 

We’ve been tightrope walking, kept hurting us and there was always that future as well,

But even if that was just a way to show off, even if it was a mistake, it was just our struggle** to make it into reality.

 

There’s nothing scary, I want to try saying such a thing,

I want to run away right now, but I can’t betray everyone.

It’s not the right mood to say that the correct answer is easy,

we all are on our last resort and I wish to change this opinion***,

but since we are fighting with back against the wall, that is its own value.

Notes and Other

*=this a very ambivalent word: it may mean both “to delude” and “to charm”.

**= the word means “struggle” but conveys the image of pawing one’s feet on the ground in order to hold one’s own ground.

***= this verse is a mess. I translated the best I could but if anyone has better ideas, let me know.

A nice song telling that there’s no “strength” when we struggle for our future: it’s just swim or sink, that’s what makes it so easy, a bit melancholic as well, but still fascinating.
